Come out and have some fun with your car in a safe and fun environment.

More info can be found here:

If they ar not NT-01 or the newer ones the sidewalls are to soft. I ran some NT555 when I forgot my lug and they rolled almost completely over at 40 psi

Were thoughs the extremes or drag radials? I will be getting extremes for DD.

555 Extremes

Propellerhead uses them with no issues but he doesn't drive it as hard though.
If you are going to AX with them I would say the Ecsta AX they handle the surface pretty well at Mineral Wells and will last a long time.

I got a new discombobulator panhard bar, should knock off a few seconds. I'm in fo sure.

I found 4 AS303 slicks used for 50 with 2/32 on them so I will be doing a burn out tomorrow with my corded ones so I don't let any wasted rubber end up in the dump and then swapping the two rears to those. Then I need to find another set of wheels for the other two so I have some track spares.

I will most likely buy a set of Toyo RA1 and have them shaved for Mineral Wells use for now on after this next set is wasted.
I may still go to the S2K even on the 2nd as well to do some more tuning on the rear suspension. I still have some push I need to get rid of but not nearly as bad as it was in March and April
Chris What kind of panhard bar did you get?

I'd question the type of sex doopie. It's Indy racing, not even dirt track racing or something.

You'll need to be more specific on the fried rice.

Propellerhead with the plastic, chrome valve stem covers?
Chili with the DFWStang sticker?
Doopie with the...well...the whole car is obvious rice.
Me....with the blue line lock switch.

Oh...you're talking about GT Dan with the rice S197. :)

I am talking about aggie97.

Dealing with a potential fueling issue that I found in testing last weekend at MSR on the 1.3. Car noses over and coughs like it's out of gas even when the tank is full. tracked it down to the fuel pressure sensor and picked it up today. I have a CHL class tomorrow morning and a party Saturday night over at yucatan...

I also lowered the seat 3" and can't see over my damn hood. Gonna have to raise it up a bit before I can start carving cones...damn, guess I am going to have to go out in the garage now and fix all this shit to come out and bust ALL of your asses!!!! :p

It's nice to be wanted at a venue but scheduling may be an issue. Might see if I can get special treatment so I can leave early get back for my pussy hunt! Hate to be all smelly and shit from standing in the sun for 8 hours!

Alright, fuck it I am headed out to the garage....we will see how it goes.

Had an issue with the CHL class so I am working on the car today. Will likely be there tomorrow but may work to leave early.

See you guys there unless I still have fuel issues.

Well, I f'n pulled a muscle in my back and I am trying to get it to loosen up. still need to raise my seat a little but with the back...I think I better just get well for next week at hallet. I have to see a chiropractor after an event as it is but if I need to go BEFORE the event, I probably won't be able to walk afterward!!!

Going to play it by ear for the next few hours...my fingers are crossed. :(

Everyone did alright, it was a very fun course. 2 3rd gear (for autos) straights, long turns....I hate to say it, but you missed one of the fastest if not the fastest course yet. Raymond did real good. I'm a little bummed that there is one guy in a stockish Mustang GT that whooped us all....but it was still fun as hell. Oh, I got beat by corvette chick too.

edit: prettypony03...whatever...is a woman on her first time out. Her kids race in another event and she wanted to try it.

Eh, it's probably better I didn't go then. Faster = harder on brakes.

propellerhead
06-10-2007, 03:02 PM
There was less braking on this course than the others I've been to. There were two long hauls with a U-turn between them. The rest were long arcs so you just stayed in high RPM in 2nd and controlled your speed with the throttle.

doopie
06-10-2007, 10:32 PM
That was a mini road course with a high speed ascending slalom in it.

If I could learn to brake later but harder I would not carry so much speed into the turn and end up pushing through the turn I think I can catch up to Jim and Michael by the end of the season I am going to attend the next two S2K events and then one of the Porsche Club tmie trials until I get a cage in it and can attend a HPDE.

I had a blast, looks like another 4th place finish for me. :( My best time out there was a 112.165. I need some more gerbils under the hood for the bmw club. :p I'll try to make it to some of the s2k events and i was already looking at some of the Porsche events.
