lol. after breaking the half shaft at the belly, i think the skittle is retired to 40 punch races only :eek:

stock axle. i didn't break the half shaft itself. i broke the tripod bearing.

Another reason i opted for a 4 banger with RWD.
MAybe i need to catch up with you one day............ I'm always up for getting a good smack down. Besides these V8 guys aren't fun......... :D

I dunno what to think........ i hear Tinkrd's Neon is quick and honestly i haven't ran any Fast neons, so like i said maybe one day i'll catch up with him.
How big is this BIGGER turbo, because to be honest it doesn't take much to get bigger than a stock Srt turbo.......... they are what Ko3's Ko4's??? Hell my speed 3 has a Ko3 (i believe) and that bitch is Fucking puny compared to my SVO's turbo.........
Bigger turbo means we also have to have the start speed increased since FWD can't get traction............ :D what a 70 punch????

Wouldn't be hard to do....... I'm pretty much maxed out short of more boost.......(already at 24-25 psi) My cam isn't made for the hp level i want. If i can come up with 1000.00 for the cam and other required work i could easily breech 400whp , but 1000.00 for a cam and related stuff is a bit much to swallow for just ONE cam. :eek:
Either way neons have more displacment :D lol
AND 8 more valves. I'm not doing shabby for 30 year old technology.

Nah, SVO's can be made quick as fuck, I've wanted one for a long time, maybe some other day, lol.
The stock srt turbo's are td04's I think, I dont remember the name. they can hit full boost at like 2100rpms, tiny tiny turbos, and they won't hold boost for shit. Over about 4500 rpms the boost will drop to about 15psi at redline no matter what you try.
The new turbo is just a bit bigger;)

i know what cars to run and the limitations of the neon.

no secret, its only making 257HP/310TQI made 278/320(I think) running way too lean, I usually make about 245/340. I'm not even racing at the cruise, Chris was just trying to be funny.

So far my only aggressive launches have netted me a busted rear end and a launch hard enough for me to be dumb and pull the shifter out of gear lol . rest of the time i just take off normal and then get on it.

lol actually no i don't i hate the cheap MBC's, i have a turbosmart unit in the car.Haha, no not to beat you, my profecb has a short or a bad wire or something going to the solenoid, and I need a temporary fix until I figure out what's wrong with the profecb.
I never knew the volvo heads were having that many problems, and turn the boost up with some race gas, what are you waiting for?:D

Actually the torco seems to work VERY well, but i do believe i will pony up for some racegas at the cruise...........MAybe.
I have some final tuning to do on the SVO before the cruise, We'll see how that goes.
