I am going to have to call in favors from people that don't even owe me but there is still a SLIGHT outside chance my car will be done. Yeah but I'm debating on selling the car. So that decision will determine which head gaskets I buy. If I sell it I will put the same ones back on, but if I decide to keep it I will be buying some Cometic gaskets.

i ran the felpro MLS head gaskets which are badass, they are like 10 more a headgasket but you can get them same day or next day! oriellys can get them from their performance wharehouse which is arrow speed. pn# FLP1133

Can you get different thicknesses? If I were to keep the car I was going to need a thick head gasket to lower the compression because I was going to put a turbo on it.

mikeB, what carb are you running for the E85 change??i know quickfuel makes a line of e85 carbs or did you just build your own?

I'm using my old 750DP with quickfuel E85 metering blocks. I upgraded the carb with a holley HP main body a couple of years ago. I also put in .150 titanium needles/seats, bigger squirters, hollow squirter screws, and replaced the remaining brass float with a solid one. I may need to tweak the air bleeds but those damn things are expensive so imma gonna wait to see. Also might need the 50cc pumps but those are expensive as well; gonna try the existing ones first. Also upgraded the fuel system:

Hopefully i'll be at denton on the 18th for a lot of T&T.

Thanks. I'll look in to it some more. I ordered some head studs last night and I'll also have to get some new pushrods after I get the thicker head gaskets.
