Me and some friends from work need to get our licenses renewed (or new license) and I'm looking for some suggestions on where to take the class in the Irving, Arlington, Southside area (Duncanville, GP, etc..).

On a different note, I submitted the application online and was surprised that I had to pay right than. Used to be that you would submit a money order with your form when you mailed it in. When did that change?

Actually, you can pay it through some of the instructors, but it's still the same.

I use Pistol Mike's in Arlington. He is a good family friend and is a cool retired military guy. No BS and his renewals are done in a short half day. He is in central Arlington near Arlington High and has a private range out in Venus he drives you too to go over the book stuff while you ride to break up the boring class time.

You can tell him Chris Shallcross sent ya and he will take good care of you. Hell I would even go to meet up with you guys and help him with the class.

This is where I just went on Saturday. It's about a block away from Main and Beltline in G.P.
I recommend them, they made the class fun and they give you donuts! :D

lol...well mine provides donuts in the am and for full day new CHL classes he provides food from the Italian diner up the street. :p :D

About a year ago everything from fingerprints to photos, and a range right there :)
