any places? also are there any stores around this area that stock stuff for stamped ak's? Sorry for all the questions, but i dont know my way around. Today is my first day living here. Just drove straight through about 1700-1800 miles from san jose. Any help appreciated. Also must allow fmj if possible:)

Anyone up for shooting?

There's a private range north of town. But you have to be a memeber.

Other than that, there's realy no ranges in the area that will allow fmj.

Backwoods, and yes they did close. They didnt allow FMJ there though either, so.

What about the banks of the Red River? Is it legal to shoot down there?

Beats me. My dad is a memeber and if I go shooting it's with him and dont pay any dues or whatever. I know the oly way in is through another member and I think there may even be a waiting period.

That being said I could be totally wrong. But I do know of one place in the area that allows FMJ and NFA stuff and that's Gibson's out in Mesquite.
