Care to explain? Just curious.
gunowners.org seems to be ON TOP of legislative issues.

Got tired of all the bullshit. Calling daily, the stupid mailings, the pushiness to make a donation, and the fact that I dont think they support all gun ownership.

Can you join and opt out of all that?

I do get mailings but I have never been called. I'm sure you could contact them and ask that they not mail/call for donations. I do believe that they need to raise funds continually and I am glad they inform me of legislative issues as they come up.

I donate to them whenever I buy from Midway USA.

I have a memebership but thats it. I wish they would spend all that money on those mailings getting stuff done. The TSR does more that actually effects regular people.

You can opt out of the calls and mailings. I let my membership lapse also, but I'm rejoining. The NRA is kinda like the USA. While imperfect, it beats the shit out of anyplace else. The NRA and and the GOA do a great job of lobbying for firearms owners. Let 'em know how you think their efforts can be improved.

I have zero intentions of rejoing the NRA. They can go jump off a cliff and then maybe I'll throw in a couple bucks for the goodbye ceremony.
