My company is looking for someone to do Marketing and Sales. Premier Insurance is an independent agency (some people call it a broker) and we work with several underwriters. We are looking for someone strong in sales that we will pay for the right person to get their insurance license, or a licensed person willing to go out and do marketing/sales. This is not going to be a typical sit behind a desk all day job (I can do enough of that for the company). We are looking for someone that loves to do sales and meet people. For an outgoing person this job will be pretty easy. We do a lot more for our customers than many other agencies combined. A good worker can expect the same.

Job description:
Going out and marketing our company do other companies. We are looking work with other companies and to do so, you will meet people from companies and get to know them. You will check up with them about once a week. We will pay for icebreakers such as donuts, coffee, lunches and misc stuff to sweeten up the friendship.

Sales will be mainly going door to door with businesses. Very simple pitch. You must expect people to shut you down and say no. You cannot let it hurt your feelings.

Weekends may occasionally have to be worked.

What is expected:
The person must dress professionally and clean groomed. Hours are flexible as long as you put in the time needed to do the job. If you do a good job and are trust worthy, there will be times you wont even need to come into the office.

You must use your own car to drive around the area doing sales but I will pay for gas. If you stick around a while, we can discuss a company vehicle.

Minimum of $15000 in sales a month. Might sound like a lot but it really should not be hard at all. A family with a couple cars and a house can be $4000+ in 1 sale. Business policies can be anywhere from $500-$100,000 a policy.

Pay is $1500/month guaranteed + 5% commission on sale + 2% on renewals. If you are decent at sales, you should average $13+ hour in the beginning and when renewals kick in it will be $15+. This seems to be a standard pay scale for insurance producers. If you are really good and a likable person, you can easily make $50k+ a year.

If you are interested, you can PM me here or email me. Also any resume (not required) can be emailed to me as well. I really think if you like sales and marketing, you will enjoy this job. We can discuss more about the job if you are serious.

Id prefer a female sales person simply because a nice cute girl has a way better chance of selling something than a big fat guy. So if you guys have a wife/girlfriend looking for a job...let them know. I will have no problem in hiring a guy if they are clean cut and professional.
