Ordered a Corsair

Yep, I found a Corsair (online :D ) That was CRAYZEE cheap. Brand new. Those turd nuggets are shipping UPS (which is the spawn of the debbil and I hate them) and it's supposed to be here Monday. MONDAY! Come the fuck on! I want my shit so I can ride in the kick ass weather this weekend! :mad: :D

That's what I hear. I was a Shoei customer for the longest time. Having never tried on an Arai I just never thought about them. Well, it was time to get a new helmet and I saw an Arai Profile in my size. Tried it on... boom -- Fit like a glove. Well, WTF, i said to myself and picked up a corsair to try on. (Arai is only second to Suomy in graphics IMO) Wow, just wow. But at 660 bucks, I can wait to find some cheaper deal. Well, found a hell of a deal on The edwards model, it was their last one too! Now the wait. Wait. Wait. Wait.

I got mine for 250 from a friend brand new.. and love it.

I wore an HJC for like 2 weeks before this arai.. i'll NEVER wear anything remotely cheap again.

Even if you wear a small or large you can buy this guy's helmet and change the cheek pads. I *think* small-medium-large all use the same shell. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

UPDATE: Well, I recieved the Corsair. I picked it up off the porch and WOW the box is light. I opened up the box and noticed it was all packaged very nicely and came in the nice bag. I also pulled out the dark smoke visor I ordered.

I opened the bag and there is the Valencia Colin Edwards edition. WOW. Just WOW. It's light as shit and looks great. I put the helmet on. YEP! Just like in the store! Fit's like a fucking glove. OK, time to change to the dark visor. Took me about a minute to get it on but can probably do it faster next time.

Went out for an 1hr ride with it on. HOLY SHIT! IT's like having a fan blow on your face. So much airflow. The field of vision is great for me. On the highway it felt great! No wobble at high speeds and I didn't find the helmet to be extremely loud.

In conclusion: Get a Corsair. Get an Arai.

I will never. EVER. wear another fucking helmet. Period. Arai has my vote FOR-EV-ER!
