just got home with the Raven

Well I picked it up this morning, a 06 R6 raven with 4100 miles on it with GYTR exhaust. Its rides pretty good. But the only other bike I have ridden is my GSXR. its been awhile since i have rode a stock height bike :D , due to my GSXR being slammed. I love the looks of this bike. It has a way different of sound than I would have thought, real deep. Who knows which one I will keep, my buddies at work are telling me to sell the GSXR and keep the R6. I like them both. I will post up some pics in a alittle bit. eating right now. :cool:

Speakin' of the Dunlops, is it me or does the tire pattern look backwards on the front tire compared to the Gixxer? With them both next to eachother the V pattern seems to be the opposite on the R6... It's been a long day, so I may be seein' it backwards tho'! lol....

sell the suzuki and become a Yamaha rider. I also have the GYTR exhaust on my bike and it does have a deep tone compared to other exhausts I've heard on the FZ1.
I looked at the R6's and coulda gotten one a little cheaper than my bike, but I liked the extra power and more upright seating better. :D

so, the gixxer has a reverse mounted tire AND a windscreen mounted on the outside? shouldn't the windscreen be mounted in between the outside fairing and inside plastic?

no, I was asked if I wanted this bike and if not if I could sell it. I haven't paid for the bike yet. I have to sell one of them to pay for this bike.


jag61180- lol thanks for noticing the screen. I never even notice it. I guess I ws in a hurry when I did that :o (fixing to go out to the garge to fix that)

Doug Hatton- I will look into the tire situation. Like I said I had just gotten home and quick wash on it and then off to work


FastFord19 - I have 2 in my possession but I still have to pay for the R6 somehow. so one has to go.

White_lightning- i did think about selling both of them, pay a few bills off save up alittle more and then get a 1000. hmmmm still might be an option. But for what I'm paying for the R6 I don't know.
