Thinking about picking up one of these at the next gun show. Anybody have an opinion on these or shot one? All input would be appreciated. Also I would not be buying it for defense, mainly it would be my new snake killer.

its not a fun gun to shoot if i would only carry it as a belly gun for self defense

Taurus makes a 45colt/.410 revolver, would be way more practical and less painful to shoot.

I've thought about getting a .410 Derringer myself for a while now. I think it would be the ultimate "anti carjacking" gun :D Wonder how that thing recoils  I wouldn't think the .410 shell would be that bad. Now the .45 LC on the other hand

looks uncomfortable.
We used to shoot one of those 22lr revolvers that were that size. Uncomfortable and not well made.

I like it. Never shot the 410 but the 357 isn't bad. Squeeze it tightly, the worst part is the trigger guard slamming into your trigger finger knuckle. They make a target version too with sight rails and long barrel. I almost picked one up just to be different in competition. I wish I had.
