At the time it seemed like a good idea to pull the fairings to wax it, but now the sun is going down, and now it's time to have dinner with some friends. I hope nobody wants to go riding any time soon. :o

My "full cleans" always involve taking off the bodywork, once you get familiar with the process it doesn't take that long. If you do it on a fairly regular basis you can eat off the damn thing. Cleanliness is the KEY to resale.

Yeah I dunno .. I could see doing it maybe once every few months for a good clean .. but not everytime ..

and I understand it doesn't take much to pull all of the plastics off .. looking at 10-15 minutes if you are being super careful about it ..

no joke!!! :eek: not that i'm one to talk, i used to wait until the threads were clearly visible on a tire before i'd replace it. I'm amazed that never came back to bite me in the ass (literally) :D
