Looking a the Taurus Millenium series, anybody know anything bout them?

What about the Kel-Tec and FireStorm compact 9mm's?
looking to pick one up at the market hall gun show and spend between 250-300.

Yeah, I would love a springfield but I am trying to stay around 250-300. Taurus fits the budget and I like the looks of it.

Think I'll be able to find one at the Market Hall show? If not anybody have some suggestions where I could find one?

My Dad has the full size Taurus in .45, and the compact 9mm. They both shoot well.

I'm gonna buy one of the compacts in .45 for my next purchase.

they have the PT-111 new in Plano at a shop for 319 new, so If I can't find a better deal at the gunshow, I will just buy there.....If I can wait, which means I'll probably buy one this weekend in Plano. :o

That is the best gunshow. I have an XD9 and it's by far the best handgun I've ever fired. I took a chance and bought it on a whim and I couldn't be happier.

I had a PT111 for a while for concealed carry. It fit my hand well, was very light, concealed well in a comp-tac holster, drew like lightning, and........ the trigger sucked big time. I shot over 500 rounds through it and just couldn't get on target well. I bought a CZ 75 compact and love it. I liked the PT111 but it was almost worthless to me. It was the DAO trigger that was most likely the problem. I grew up on the 1911A1 so I am probably biased in the SA or SA/DA shooting mode.

With hand guns, it what you shoot well with that matters.

My wife shoots a Taurus PT111 and is pretty good with it. I shoot a Ruger P94 but it's not a compact. Her trigger did take her awhile to get used to but now is no problem.

The Taurus is a good way to go for the price and the warranty . Hell when it first came out it won the compact gun of the year for a few years in a row. My buddy has two of them a 9mm and a 40 they are great.

Well, I picked up a Ruger P95 at Academy this weekend. Haven't shot it yet, but my friend has the exact gun which I love to shoot. I wanted to try and a get something a little more compact, but after actually going out and getting the guns in my hands from Academy and sportsmans warehouse, I really liked the Ruger and the price was right, less than 340 with my 10 dollar coupon! I'll post pics later when I get home.

I really like my 24/7. I have a S&W .40 4003 with night sights, I really dont know which I like better. This is also coming from a ex glock owner. I had a g32, and I like the Taurus better. Its a good gun, feels good in the hands, light, and has yet to jam on me.

Yeah, I am excited.

Another reason I picked the Ruger is b/c I already have a GP-100 that I love.

I have a P95 in a 9mm as well and its a good gun . It doesn't have all the fancier items like some of the other guns but shoots well and doens't jam , ever .

My next gun will be a XD40 though ....... I don't need it , I just want it . :D
