Minimum Qualifications or Skills Required (other qualifications may apply)
• High School Diploma or GED. Some post high school education preferred
• 1-3 years of automated dispatch experience
• Knowledgeable in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Typing of at least 60 wpm and 10-key by touch
• Be on call and work overtime as necessary to meet customers’ needs
• Superior customer service skills
• Knowledge of Mapsco
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Verbal Spanish communication skills preferred
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information
• Manages multiple projects and works under pressure to meet deadlines
• Presents professional and personable image with a positive attitude and a professional demeanor
• Superior interpersonal skills
• Works independently
• Flexible, adaptable, and embraces change

Responsibilities
• Dispatches technicians to appointments and keeps customers informed of status of scheduled calls.
• Dispatches service, trim, start up, warranty, and installation calls for assigned trade by paging calls to technicians.
• Runs scheduling reports and faxes to Area Managers (Trim Dispatcher only).
• Informs technicians of meetings, scheduled vehicle maintenance requirements, and other non-call related activities.
• Provides positive feedback to technicians and serves as a primary communication channel.
• Discusses nature of job with technicians over the phone to ascertain proper dispatch of call.
• Coordinates with Service Managers, Customer Service Lead, and Dispatch Lead to ensure all service orders are properly scheduled.
• Evaluates quality of call set-up and notifies Customer Service Representatives of necessary changes.
• Maintains dispatch system by entering proper invoice numbers, arrival time status, and completion times.
• Monitors system for job status emails from technicians.
• Updates customer comments in system to provide accurate and complete information to aid in more effectively handling future calls from customer.
• Rotates weekend and holiday duty schedule.
