What is your question? Do you have to go school or an academy to get TCLEOSE certified? You can get certified both ways, just depends on the program.

TCLEOSE CERT here too
TCLEOSE for what though?
Best way to go is get hired on at a city that pays for the Academy and doesn't try to fire your ass after that in their "mini-Academy" *cough*PlanoPD*cough*.

I'm looking to get on to a department, and trying to find the best way to go about it.

Do like GE said and try to get hired on with a city that has their own academy. You get paid while attending which is nice. Where do you want to work?

Ya, don't spend your own money and time to go through all that just to TRY to get on a PD. Any reputable PD will put you through.

Like the others have said get on with a city that pays for the academy. I'm applying to dallas at the end of may so hopefully I'll get on.

If I were to do it all over again, I'd go somewhere like Southlake. I like the whole police/fire/ems wrapped into one idea.
