:( Got a little crazy with my plyometrics and sports this past week and it ended up costing me some down time. I think it was the soccer and box jumps. This shit sucks, although its just a slight tear I have a feeling. Did the same thing in high school and couldn't walk for a week.
Thankfully there is a healthsouth physical therapy place at my work. :)
I plan on having some sound waves going through my knee in about an hour.

Damn, sucks for you. I have had both ACL's replaced. So far, no problems since.

I know a really good ortho in Houston. He does all of the motocrossers knees...and various other parts. His name is Mark Sanders. Here is his website. He will do an outstanding job on ANY ortho injury.

I like him already... he has a protocol called "accelerated acl rehabilitation protocol".
Get the damn blood moving in the area as quick as possible, stress the area as much as possible without breaking it, pull back a little, stress it again!
That was my biggest problem in my rehab... finding a PT that would actually allow me to exercise. Forget this one year rehab crap, I wasn't in a damn wheel chair!

That sucks. If you are looking for a good Ortho give James Montgomery a call. He is in Dallas off of Greenville and Pheonix.

I appreciate the help. I am going through therapy and getting some ultrasound for the time being. I am going to try and avoid having to have any serious work done.
If i decide to, I will definately keep this guy in mind. I am on the same page as 01WhiteCobra.
