Decisions, Decisions....

Well my plan of getting a 06/07 zx10r is out the window. I've looked into used liters and priced some out. Soo far here's what i've found at a used dealership with financing but require full coverage (which suxors)

01' RC51 and a 05' zx10r

I like both, except for the sound of a v-twin...ughhh...But the rc51 is cheaper by price and insurance. (46 per month Full coverage vs. 120 per month)

Are there any issues on either before i pick one up?

I've also thought of a 600, but they don't have any ones that i would want. zx6r or 600rr or r6 that's in the same or better condition and CHEAPER than the above liter bikes.

I want to enjoy the cool riding weather before it's too damned hot!!!

Yeah thats a toss up. I want an RC really bad, and i've heard nothing but good stuff about the zx10. I plan on getting one of either of those next year.

I would be happy with either, both are bad-ass bikes. If I had to pick though, I guess i would have to get the ZX-10R.

Just depends on what you like and what your going to do with it. I like the sound of a vtwin, and i really don't go out and ride anymore, just commute to work and back every day. So to me, either would be fine, but then again, if i were to go ride hard, either would still do, track day, or back roads.

I want to have it all, commute, go on road trips, hit a track or a backroad. And more importanty run down my friends 1000rr, but doesn't look like it'll be possible with either of the two bikes.

WHAT!!!? Stock for stock the 10r's will drag the 1000rr' !!! In 04-05 the 10r's set the bar for the current sport bikes.

I would keep looking and get up on the web. You may have to drive but you will be able to get what you want.

Either that, or I would go for the ZX-10 Scot and Gars bikes look good and are HELLA fast!

Owning an RC51 is like marriage.... Till death do us part. They are HARD to sell once you're ready to get something else. Really nice bikes though. Personally I'd go with the ZX10. And I'm a Honda guy.

ZX10 gets my vote. They are really nice and handle awesome.

W3rd! Where did you hear or see that that RR can take a 10r? :eek: That's just insane!
