Most of those short shotguns will beat the snot out of you.

My old man has a short side-by-side 20ga with double triggers and double hammers (I *think* its a Winchester model) and I was going to dove hunt with it when I was about 11. About 8 birds into the hunt my little shoulder started to get sore and I pussed out and went to the truck to get my O/U. :o

The side-by-side has to be my favorite. It stays loaded under the bed and the first gun i would pull if any one every gets the balls to run up in this house. My brother lives with me and has just as many guns as me. We have a shot gun in every room and a pistol in every night stand. lol, come get some!
