For the runners mainly, I just switches to a pair of puma trail racers and so far I like them. They're pretty damn comfy for being a lightweight shoe

I think my Kayano VII's have bit the dust on me, they don't seem to cushion too much anymore, but I've been quite a few hard miles in them. Overall, I loved them. I need some new running kicks in 14-15 for a flat/neutral step.

I love asics, by far the best shoe I have used for running. They are the only brand that have held up for me.

You don't run except for the 1/8 mile it takes you to catch the ice cream man.

Brooks Beast have been my mainstay.
This year I'm rotating the Beasts with Asics Gel Evolution II and the Fila Flow Reckoning III.

Yes.
Especially if it is preceded with a 2.4 mile swim and a 112 mile bike.

LMAO.
Shit, lost an achilles tendon last year, what's a knee this year? :D
Actually, for some reason, I think knee surgery would be worse than achilles tendon surgery. Don't know why, just think it would. But knee surgery seems to be more common among runners than achilles tendon surgery.

I can honestly tell you i have never been envious of anyones lifting ability.. but seeing the amount you run, swim and cycle.. i bow before your superiority.

All about figuring out the gifts bestowed upon you. Some people were gifted with a shit load of red muscle fiber and the ability for explosive movements and some of us were gifted with a shit load of white muscle fiber and a highly developed capillary system.
Running a marathon under 3 hours is like doing over 500lbs in the bench to me. Shows dedication to your endeavor.
I'm equally impressed by both because I know the training that goes into both. You don't get to do either without years of focused training and doing things right. No way to cheat training for either (even with steroids!)
Anytime I start feeling a tired and don't want to go out and train I watch this video. Shows me what a pussy I was being:

Saucony makes excelent running shoes. But it's easier to pick up a pair of Asics, and they have a shoe for every foot type.

I like adidas x-country for my skips...they seem to hold up the longest, plus they are always decently priced

asics seems to be a real good choice, haven't heard any complaints. I have saucony's stabil series. good arch support and have relieved some pressure on my knees.
