I bought an AR and 500 rounds of ammo. I figured I'd shoot at Garland Gun Range but they don't allow FMJ--- WTF?!? Where to shoot rifles in DFW?

Yeah a lot of ranges dont allow FMJ.

Only place I know of in the Dallas area that allows FMJ is Gibsons across from the Devils Bowl.

I hate that crap, not being able to shoot FMJ. Oh well makes me use better ammo in my mini 14.

What could be better than M193, 855, or IMI WWB?

Damn, Backwoods TRAPS closed down last April?! So where in the hell *can* you shoot them around here? I wonder if that guy down south on I-45 is still around... that jose, ALLAN, and I went to check out that one time.

there is the remington gun range over by luna rd. and people dont allow FMJ because of the ricochet. and you dont really need FMJ for target practice...

I belong to a private gun range called "The River".

Mickey, who ownes the Ammo Depot, lease's this private gun range out to several people who know how to take care of the place.

So, ever wanna go, let me know! (btw, ONLY place in North Texas one can take full-auto stuff out and play!)

We've taken 7 cars down there to date, lots of fun!

500 isn't much, go out and buy another 500 in soft point and go to your local range... you can never have too much ammo.

Backwoods wouldnt let you shoot fmj anyway. I knew one of the owners. They were affraid it might clear the burm. Most ranges are that way. Just buy some soft point ammo.
