Im ready for the season to start too, but I'll hope they dont fall apart after the all star break. All the people who complain about baseball complain because they could never play it well, they throw like girls or whiff at a 30mph pitch. :D

First Inning:
2 on, nobody out, and Michael Young grounds into a double play (hard hit, but right at the second baseman).
Teixeira flies out to centerfield; Gary Matthews, Jr., makes a pretty good catch.

Millwood walks the lead-off batter on four pitches and then gives up a hard RBI double to Vladimir Guerrero on the first pitch he sees.

Second Inning:
The commentators hype up Sosa's return to baseball and his great spring training, and then he strikes out looking and whines at the umpire as he returns to the dugout.
Blalock gets a nice double, moves over to third on a wild pitch/pass ball, and he's stranded after the next two batters strike out.

Some Angels douchebag hits a fly ball at the wall in center field, Kenny Lofton forgets Gary Matthews, Jr., doesn't play for the Rangers anymore, tries to make a leaping catch at the wall, and the ball bounces out of his glove for a homerun.

Usually they wait for the all-star break for that.I remember a couple of years ago when they started off somewhere around (maybe even below) 5-15. I don't think they ever got going well enough to have a late-season collapse that year.

*Update* Kinsler just hit a homerun past the glove of a leaping Gary Matthews, Jr., who, although human, is still vastly superior to Kenny Lofton.
