Not 100% official, but coming from "high ranking officials" and published by the Chronicle, I think it is probably accurate.

$2Million over the next 5 years seems like a nice raise. Oh well, Billy deserves it. He has taken the program to greatness. Now lets see if he can keep it up...

There is a hopeful rumor(I am sure it originated on texags) that BCG could be a "lifer" after this deal goes through. That seems like a bit of a stretch to me, but would be an ideal situation.

There's no such thing as a lifer these days. You can go ahead and disregard that.

and i think i heard on espn news today that Arkansas is supposed to talk to him tomorrow or that atm was supposed to consider the rais tomorrow. Can't remember which one it is

Arkansas is out of the picture now, but Kentucky is the front-runner now.

Looks like the A&M Board Of Regents may need to check their seat cushions for some more money.

because they were hired 20-40 years ago :rolleyes:

back when creating a life long lineage with your school was the ultimate goal.

and many coaches will still say the same things today... but its all about the money and the prestige. hell even the prestige wears off after a while.

very very few coaches stay around for more than a handful of years.

Yep. He just jumped out of the comfy hot tub into the frying pan. He was a "rockstar" at A&M. If he gets KY back to where they are used to being, he will be a "god" up there.
