Hornets in a blow out. Grandmama, Mugsey, and JR Reid make a comeback in hopes of influincing the fans to back their team in order for them to stay in N.O. The Mavs, confused, are unable to score in the first 13 minutes of the game and dig a hole that is too deep to get out of. Hornets, 113-74.

I thought it was J.R. Rider, not J.R. Reid? Or was he the guy that changed his name?

we will have trouble against new orleans like alwayz
Can't say that I agree. We've beat them by double digits in all 3 games this year. And are 8-0 against them the 2 seasons before this.
Resurrecting this from one of the other Mavs posts last week. They were talking about this on ESPN radio this morning and the Hornets (going all the way back to when they were Charlotte) haven't beaten the Mavs since '99. The Mavs vs Hornets winning streak is the longest by any team against another in the 4 major sports. (NBA, NFL, MLB, and Hockey). Hey Big, you missed this one by a mile. ;)

You don't remember the greatness of the Hornets back in the mid-90's? Upset Boston in their first ever playoff appearance. I was only 13 or 14 at the time but I remember it. Of course, basketball was my f'n life back then.
