Obama gets to watch his rival play free time games on TV for a whole weekend and it still isn't over. So he brings up a long shot, that of Nifong and the Duke Rape case, and scorez!
Notably absent from any real commentary about actual issues is a certain candidate lawyer, FROM North Carolina, with historically the biggest backing of trial lawyers of any other candidate.
hehe. Obama FTW! He's still got my primary vote.

What does the first sentence mean? I don't understand "watch his rival play free time games" and are you trying to say Edwards is historically the biggest backer of trial lawyers?
Give some history for those who don't know what the heck you are talking about.

LOL! I was in a hurry, I'm working three machines here.
I am now convinced that Edwards is milking his family situation; probably with his wife's blessing, and not that it is "wrong", just an example of the drive these people develop in politics. First there was the "leak", then there was the press conference, then there was the Liz Edwards interview, and coverage all about Senator Metrosexual all weekend, topped off with the Couric pizzazz.
So Obama makes a statement about North Carolina Trial Law shenanigans with the interview as a backdrop to Edwards' resume. I don't think half the country or even a quarter made the connection between Duke Rape trial and Edwards' professional environment. After all, his private biz is his private biz, lets get on with the issues, right? ;)

Yes sir, Texas Democratic Primary. You should go express your opinions in the voting booth denny. That's what democracy is all about. They can't be trusted to side with a candidate all by themselves, right?

i completely disagree with that assumption.
and tell me how any political or public figure would be able to keep something like this from hitting the press?
it happened as a result of the findings of a scheduled routine oncology checkup. john edwards is a presidential candidate. do you really think there would be any other way to handle this issue other than making a formal announcement.
let's rewind back campaign '04 and hypothetically say that laura bush was diagnosed with cancer during the campaign. do you think that would have not been splashed all over the tv, news, internet, etc..
accusing good people of exploiting cancer is just plain wrong.
you are way over-the-top on this issue.
