Well, it's time to get back on track for me. My last job working in the vending buisness really caught up with me and my weight.

My competition weight was 200lbs and I'm now 260lbs. So I've got 60lbs to lose. The wife and I went shopping and bought healthy, fresh food. Threw out all the junk of the fridge too. Now it will be dealing with the addiction to sugar/caffiene from all the sodas I drank at my last job.

I was also only eating once a day. I'd skip breakfast and lunch and by the time I got home I was so starving I'd stuff myself and go to bed soon afterwards. Now when I eat breakfast, I feel sick, sluggish after eating. But I'm sure I will get over that. I've got eggs and oatmeal for breakfast to mix it up during the week.

Mon/Wed/Fri- Weights.
Martial arts training - everyday except Sunday.

Wish me luck

Steve

Both actually. I'm considering entering an event in the end of August. But still without it, I would be doing this. It's LONG overdue.

Good work on the weight loss. How did you do it?

Joined a small martial arts class (that shit is great cardio) 3 times a week and stopped drinking soda's. I flatlined at 230's because I love to eat good food and joined a gym for the other days of the week and am loosing some more.

It was hard for me to get off my but because ive been fat all my life, i was a 34-36" in middle school

Yeah, it's great for alot of things. I didn't get real heavy until I was around that junk food with that company 15 hours a day.

Its behind me, now I can take better care of myself.

Anyone have any idea what would be a good amount of calories to take in? I've read that eating too little can put your body into a mode of holding onto the fats.

--Im shure there is a ballpark somewhere but everyone is diff. I did not really look at calories, just picked things that are good/not bad and got into a semi strict diet I can leve with forever

SteveWe could've done without those first three sentences as we already knew you were a fatass...

I'm keeding. Good luck! I hear you can lose a lot of weight by just cutting out candy and cokes and fat stuff you eat without really thinking about.

Good luck sir, if you need someone to run behind you and kick you to keep you from stopping, or just to call you fat so you feel bad and get to work, you know where to find me. :)

mon, tues and wed im at the 24 hour fitness on parker/alma at 5:30. since im going lighter.. training is fairly fast paced..

Saterdays are slower since no on is in a hurry.. 11 am at the same gym

mon = shoulders/tris
tues = back/bis
wed = legs
sat = chest bis.

you wont slow me down.. its not about moving big weight. its about doing something thats relatively heavy for reps.
