Minimum Qualifications or Skills Required (other qualifications may apply)
• High School Diploma or equivalent. First year college accounting coursework preferred
• Up to 2 years of Accounts Receivable/Billing experience
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Access
• Knowledge of general accounting principles
• Basic skills in 10-key calculator, typewriter, and computer data entry
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal English communication skills
• Effective verbal Spanish communication skills preferred
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information
• Prioritizes multiple duties and works under pressure to meet deadlines
• Strong math skills
• Presents professional and personable image with a positive attitude and a professional demeanor
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Willing to work overtime and flexible schedules to meet deadlines

Responsibilities
• Processes billing and receivables.
• Processes purchase orders.
• Codes jobs to the correct General Ledger account.
• Arranges customer financing for jobs.
• Prepares bank deposits.
• Orders extended warranties.
• Generates invoices upon job completion and matches to purchase order. Sends invoices to customer. Closes jobs in system upon job completion.
• Makes adjustments to accounts as necessary.
• Compiles and distributes weekly billing volume reports.
• Processes billing for change out jobs.
• Resends invoices on past due accounts.
• Researches and resolves billing and payment discrepancies.
• Develops and utilizes filing and retrieval systems for periodic audits.
• Note: duties may change as department/company needs require.
