They did start to pull away in the 3rd and win by 15. Yawn. Time for Lebron tomorrow night.

Mavs took care of business. We have a 5 game lead on Phoenix. Just need to finish pretty strong, get home court through playoffs, and get George and Buck back.

26.5 to go and Knicks up 103-102, but Dirk's at the line. DevHarris fouled out.
Good chance for Dirk to his some FT under pressure.

this turn out to be a real good game even though the mavs arent shooting great. mavs lead 104 to 103.

Marbury was good tonight...went off for 43 points.

Stars win in incredible fashion. Mavs win in a thriller and set a new franchise record. What a night for sports around here!

I went to this game tonight with some free tickets I got from an co-worker. Pretty good game to watch, but a bit too close for the Mavs for my comfort level. I think it says alot about a team that can win despite shooting under 40% for pretty much the entire game.

Awesome game tonight! I only caught the last eight or so minutes on the radio but it was a nail biter never the less. Let's bring on the Sun's!!!

Dude, Starbury lit us up tonight. He had like 25 points in about 1-1/2 quarters worth of play before he finally got in foul trouble in the 2nd half.

I know... And they still lost.. Dallas shot like 38% and still won. They get out rebounded from what I understand to.

Yeah, they got beat on the boards bad. IIRC, the Knicks started the game and had a 14-2 or 16-2 advantage on the boards. After that, the Mavs played them pretty evenly. Starbury actually did end up playing 40 minutes to get his 43 points. It still concerns me that one player can go off and control a game like that against us. Brings flashbacks of DWade. Maybe once Devean George and Buckner have their game legs back, we'll get back to where we were defensively.

I think the Mavs are the best team in the league, but they win more close games than any team I've ever seen in my life. It's good to be able to pull it out in crunch time, but on the other hand I think alot of the close games they've won shouldn't have been close in the first place.

I don't know if its killer instinct, or they just get disinterested because they're bored. Either way, its not comforting.
