We had a company come to work traaining people how to lift correcly while at work, lift with the legs , not the back--- bla bla bla. Anyway, they were doing testing with a bar and chain hooked to scales where you could lift the chain from a squat and the scales would show your pull in lbs. I was watching all the guys try it and they were all in the 150 to 170 range, we are all old and out of shape badly. I took my turn and the instant I hooked up, I realized I could hook the bar over my knees, no one noticed, I acted like I was straining like heck and just leaned back in a squat with the bar over my knees, I pushed the scaled to over 600 and they all jumped back thinking the chain was going to pull out of the base.
The lady testing told me I had set a new record, no one noticed how I did it and I didn't tell them either.
