AI had 44 points and 15 assists  last night as Denver blew out Phoenix. Mavs are 4 up in the standings and 5 up in the loss column, so I'm 100% sure now that Mavs will have home-court thoughout the 1st round. Lets just hope it means something.
Denver could be a team to watch now. They haven't played all that great since AI & Melo became teammates, but they've won 4 in a row, all pretty easily. Maybe they're finally developing a bit of chemistry.
Dallas would've had home court throughout the playoffs even if they finish #2...unless of course they play the number one seed in the west finals or some shit...but they won't get that far.

If Dallas fell to #2 behind Phoenix, they would not have home court advantage throughout. If they faced and beat Phoenix in the WCF, then they'd have home court for the finals.

That is what I just said, minus the finals part.

You know I give the mavs fans alot of shit but Im pretty sure the mavs will make it to the finals. If they win the championship is a another story.

That'd be 6 good n hard fouls we could use to wear him down.

Hell the mavs might have to worry about the suns. They might have to worry about parker and ducan. I rather see the mavs and spurs. It would be a better series.

The Spurs would have to drop to the 4th seed (currently Utah - 3 games back) for Dallas to see them in the 2nd round. Otherwise, we'd get the winner of the SA/Phoenix in the 2nd round. I'd like to see those two go at it in the 2nd round and then Dallas and SA go at it in the WCF. And that's assuming the Mavs make it out of the 2nd round. Utah wouldn't be an easy matchup by any means. They play very rough/physical and that gives the Mavs problems. Of course, we could play Houston and that'd be a tough series too with TMac and Yao both healthy.
The way it stacks up now, it looks like this:
1st rd
Mavs(1) vs Golden State(8)
Phoenix(2) vs Lakers(7)
San Antonio(3) vs Denver(6)
Utah(4) vs Houston(5)
My picks
2nd rd
Dallas vs Houston
Phoenix vs SA
3rd Dallas vs SA
And being the homer that I am, Dallas is coming out of the WCF.
You're a homer and a half. I hate basketball, so I don't really care who makes it to what, but I hate Texas sports teams in general, so I'm just going to say "Suns FTMFW".

Damn, did someone piss in your face or what? Mavs are going to the Finals, doesn't really matter what you or anyone else "want" or "like." ;)

That really sucks, because chances are a Texas team is going to win it all. Suns are your only hope.
