Republican Senator John Sununu was the first to GOP to call for Attorney General Alberto Gonzales(R) to be fired for reportedly unethical and inappropriate dismissals of 8 federal prosecutors(Democrats).

Pretty powerful statement coming from the son of the former white house chief of state under President George H.W. Bush.

President Bush also admitted "Mistakes were made. And I'm frankly not happy about them.".

Most Democrats have been calling for his resignation or termination for some time now, but in light of recent events we now have GOP doing the same thing.

Accusation does not equal jack shit. Anyone can accuse anyone of anything, hell, we could all accuse you of being an intelligent human being. Doesn't mean it is true

I have to ask, why do you keep posting this crap? Do you just like to argue, or do you actually think any of your parrot act is going to convince anyone of anything?

I ask again, did you get butt-raped by a republican in a previous life? Did you walk in and find George W. giving your mom a pearl necklace? Why the constant bashing? You are just making yourself look foolish, at least get some decent material to work with, other than a senator that wants some attention.

well, it's not an accusation if president bush has already admitted that he made mistakes and he is not happy about it.

and now you have GOP senators asking for his termination.

and this is a political forum and the attorney general being accused of wrong doing qualifies as a political issue.

and yes, i'm going to post more threads about republican political corruption to keep rocking the hard right - no accountability - "moral majority" boat.

and why the duplicity about my threads? the other threads are the same bash the democrats and clinton card nonsense.

tit for tat. eye for an eye.

I find it rather amusing that the media is all up in arms about this yet when Janet Reno fired all of them (I believe number was around 90-->Republicans), nobody cried about it.

I just read an article this morning that bush was quoted saying that he stands by Gonzales and said that what he and the justice department did was justified.

Have you seen anything pertaining to this article?

Do we have more Bush flip flop?

For those like you that reply to legit political discussion with off color banter can take a flying leap. It really shows who single minded you are and how hopeless the future will be with numb nuts like you continually voting straight ticket for political office just because their represented by the Republican Party.

Might want to check your facts there Chief. The attorney's fired were REPUBLICANS!!! appointed by the Bush administration. Even Time magazine got that part right and they are owned by CNN.

the controversy over alleged political influence in the firing of eight Republican U.S. attorneys last Dec. 7, in an episode that some of its victims have already taken to calling the "Pearl Harbor Day Massacre."

Why are you so retarded? You suck up this shit from Move on like it was cream corn.
WHO FUCKING CARES?
Federal prosecutors serve at the digression of the President. By your stupid logic, Clinton should be nailed to the cross and set afire, because when he took office, he fired every single federal prosecutor in the nation!http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g18/myjpegs06/lol3.gif

NO SHIT!
Did you see the reasons they were fired? I think some were lucky that they didn't face charges themselves or at least a good ass whooping on top of the firing! :D

Anyone remember Clinton firing all of his Federal Prosecuters? He did, and nobody said a fucking word. As usual, the Libs have "selective memory syndrome".
SCROLL UP BUBBA! lol!

I should have added the "selective memory" comment, but I loved the visual image of Clinton on a flaming cross! ;)

We forget that the Whitewater scandal was being investigated when Clinton did his firings. That's just a tad unethical...to most folks.
