They should be paid more IMHO. I worked security at a bar in lower greenville on newyear's eve a couple years back to help out a friend who needed more people.

I didn't care what I got paid since it was a favor... but I would definatley not do it for $10 an hour on a regular basis.

Some bars tip out the bouncers and other places also make them barback. Still though $10 an hour to stand there and check IDs isn't too bad. I'm sure as hell not gonna take a punch for that though!
