I found this posted on another message board and found it very amusing what the Palestinians are willing to do to try and create sympathy for themselves across the world.

Put aside your dislike for me for just ONE minute. Think about this. If a group of people came into your country, and the UN granted these people to take half your countries land..... would you be happy about it? Would you be happy if over time, they flocked into your land and grew a powerful military?
Here is a fact about the Israeli "Settlements", since I'm confident none of you know what a settlement really is. What happens is that the Israeli's call your house, they tell you that you are harboring a terrorist and they will launch airstrikes on your home in 10 minutes. You have 10 minutes to leave your home, where you raised your children and have lived all your life. Ten minutes later, they bombard your house and within hours bulldozers are on site cleaning the area up. They clean the area of rubble, and proceed to build walls around the area. Guess what? Your and your neighbours homes just became the latest Israeli "settlement".
I know this not because I saw it on a video, not because I believe what the TV tells me. I know this because my Palestinian friend saw this with his own eyes, while his family ran away from the Israeli airstrikes. They fled to Canada, to get away from this murder.
What would you do? Sit by, as they exterminate your people? This is genocide, and you Americans sit there and say the Israeli's are right for doing what they're doing, although you denounce what Hitler and the Nazi's did to the Jews 50 years ago. The Palestinians fight back with whatever they have, because they're angry.
Palestinian women die en route to the hospital while in labour, Palestinian children do not have clean water most of the time...... all the while these "settlements" have Palm trees and fucking swimming pools. See past your hate. You know this is wrong, and this is not what the American nation once stood for. Yet now the American nation stands by and says it's ok to slaughter Palestinians, because you are so biased against them. Your government helps in this slaughter, and many of you cheer it on.
Don't disagree with me because you dislike me, or because you hate middle eastern people. Put yourself in their position, dont make a smart ass comment. Just think about it sensibly for a moment, What Would You Do?

I agree with you on the blowing up of innocents, I am totally against that and I believe that is Islam's biggest fault..... only second to its susceptibility to corruption and greed, which in my opinion is where the skewered thoughts that it's ok to blow up innocents comes from because they'll go to heaven and smoke hash with seven virgins or whatever.
But, two wrongs don't make a right. The Israeli's have no right to that land, and have no right to further claim to any land there.
All you just did there was make an excuse as to why it's ok for the Israeli's to occupy someone else's country and take their land. My question was what you would do were you in the Palestinian's shoes?????

Alright, fine. Do you remember when the 9/11 attacks happened? I'm sure you do. On that fateful day, after the attacks, CNN aired a clip of Middle Eastern people celebrating and shooting their guns in the air. Americans got angry, and if I didn't know any better I would have too.
The truth of the matter is, that clip they aired was several years old and was from some sort of festival or marriage or something completely irrelevant.
Of course, just because we didn't see blood or whatever, it doesnt mean it was fake. Maybe it was, but are you really going to trust some Israeli group that dissected the video and take their word on it? Do you really believe they are unbiased? Answer this truthfully, not with some simple retort such as "well, they deserved it for spelling Osama with an O instead of U".

Proof? I remember plenty of other news programs showing similar footage, with translations, AND footage in english. None of it was more than hours old.

Wrong. There was footage of news coverage of the smoldering collapsed towers on the TV behind them. Yep...it's just human nature and it made my blood boil. I didn't care for or trust arabs before then and I sure don't have any...ANY compassion for em now "innocent" or not. I think we should take away their hotels and Chevron stations and send em HOME. Plus they stink.

I think you're mistaken, and apparently you're imagining things too. No offence, but you're off base here. There was no footage of the smouldering twin towers, many other TV stations and other sources confirmed that this was a much older video and that it was for some sort of celebration.
I don't trust Arabs myself, but I think that what is happening to these people is wrong and they do not deserve it. You can take away all the Chevron stations and hotels, but when OPEC decides to give you a big F-U what are you going to say when your entire economy collapses? Face it, you need them as much as they need you.
Nobody here has answered my question, all you have done is made small talk and pointed in the other direction. Answer the questions I posed, how would you feel were you in their shoes? It's not about sympathy, its not about who you like or dislike. How would you feel?

Since were on this im kinda curious, if yasser arafat was the palestinian leader and fought for their cause to free " his " peoples of israeli occupation....how did he become their leader if he was born in egypt? I can understand if his parents were palestinians and he was born there, but even then you are where your born.

Wasn't the land occupied by both Jews and Arabs since Biblical times? How far back do you want to go in order for the Arabs to lay claim to the land? Sure they were there in 1946 or whenever Israel was founded but what about before that? I was also under the impression that before the establishment of Israel this land was essentially desert wilderness with just a few settlers and no government. And the term "palestinian" didn't even exist until the Jews showed up. IE, Palestine has never been an actual nation. Correct me if I'm wrong.
