Converting DVD-Ram

We have a video camera that records onto the DVD-Ram mini disks. How do we convert it to play on the computer, so in turn, we can record onto a regular DVD?
Any clues? We don't have any software for this camera and it will not download from the website. Thanks people.

Well, depending on the camera, you should have the ability to connect it from the IEEE-1394 port to the computer, via your USB/1394 slot. That would probably be the easiest way. Are there no ports on the video camera to connect it to the computer?
