NAS JRB Fort Worth Cruise Night

Talking to a friend at work today and he kind of tossed the idea on the table of a cruise/gtg starting up this summer for all the guys on base. Don't have any details at this point, suggestions welcomed.

I was thinking of like maybe down by the marina for a little beer & BBQ. Of course we have to convince security to let us do it.

That would make the most sence since it has the most parking space. I wouldn't think security would have a problem with it as long as we weren't doing anything dumb.

There would be some shade and a place to BBQ, pretty much the only place on the base to have it.

I work at Lockheed (across the flightline) but have access to the base. Yes, I'm old school. That place is still Carswell Air Force Base for many of us. :)

No it would have to be a weekend thing to get all the drilling reservist out too.

Like I said before, no details as of yet, just seeing if anyone would be interested. I've got a handful of guys at work that are down. Hopefully we can get enough guys out there with real cars so there won't be any room for all the ricers on base!

Unfortunately, squids like myself are not too skilled in the art of handling small arms.

Who all can actually get their car on base, or even get on base for that matter? Trying to set something up for this summer. I've got a handful of guys here at work interested so I'd like to get a lot of cars to show up and maybe could make it a reagular outing. Thanks.
