I love to lift weights and enjoy abs and hammer curls probably the most. I was wondering what is the one thing in your workout that you absolutely hate to do? Cardio? Plyometrics? weights?...

I can't stand to do lunges.
I hate them! Every combo or way of doing them I can't stand. I only do them because they work well. I guess since its my weak area, thats why I hate them soooo. ::shrugs::

Hmm... without a doubt abs. Do it last in my workout. By the time I get to it, I'm dead tired and feel like giving up.

squats, but for some odd reason i convinced myself to like them. i don't really care for the streching befor work out thing though

I hate with a passion doing cardo, I love squats, deadlifts, incline, and all the other crap I just hate cardio....I need to start though

I have days where I dread the cardio...the treadmill just beats me down at times. I can't complain though because you'll never catch me doing aerobics...:p

my two least favorite things are abs and lower back, I just hate doing those. I am starting to actually enjoy cardio now in my old age :D

Hell it would be easier to say what I like doing. I like the leg press, squats, Lat Pull, and shoulder press, that is about it.

I'd hafta agree with Karen on this one, lunges BITE! Maybe it's cuz I do them last on leg day to blast 'em out, but oooohhh the burn.:( :mad:

I hate squats with a passion. I had my ACL repaired and that knee cracks and pops all the time when I do them. I'm always afraid something bad is gonna happen during those damn things :mad:

Okay....new hatred has arisen for leg curls...:mad:

Lunges are pleasant compared to these...anyone notice a trend in my "most hated exrcises". :D



Give me another 8 weeks and it will change again...:p

I hate doing lunges too! Especially the ones that you have to do with your hands above your head. Or make it fun and carry 2 25lb dumbbells!! fun fun

I absolutly hate doing crunches! as you can tell

I know it's not an exercise, but contest-prep dieting is the absolute worst. Chicken and oatmeal, chicken and oatmeal. Ugh, I am ready for some real food...

Wow, are you back in contest form, Aaron? Or are you just talking about that in general?

Well, right now I am just workin' for a summer physique as I'm still a ways away from contest shape. I still have a few percent to lose and a few more pounds to gain before I think I'll go on the contest circuit (my goal is a natural 205 @ about 6%), but I'd love to have your support when I get there.:)

Sometime I like working my abs, sometimes I don't. The thing I probably dislike the most is cardio. I'm glad I bring a mp3 player with me for that. =)

Worst over-all I would have to concur is the dreaded cardio. Great for tha body, but booooo-riiiing!

man I don't have a clue as to what most of those exercise are that you all just listed.

where I work out all most everything is free weights. clue a brother in on what the hell you all are talking about.:confused:

we do plyo's for football, and I dont enjoy them too much. I hate working abs too.

Roman Chair can hurt after a while, but I kind of like doing it. EXCEPT when I get off the thing and I'm light headed for a while. :D

i hate abs and cardio, which is probably what i need to do the most of right now.

every once in a while i just get in the mood and bust ass doing cardio for like a week, then i stop. damnit!!!!

I HATE abs and cardio. I do just enough abs to get by, and usually my only cardio comes from playing basketball or some other sport. Of course, right now, you couldn't tell that I ever do either. :( I think I need to start playing ball again....

1st - Cardio unless its basketball.
2dn - Crunches <-- hell.
3rd - Deadlifts ... they make me feel like im going to literally die.
