Did anyone else hear that you can bring a Netflix insert(cover) whatever to blockbuster Video and get a free movie rental??
I heard something like that on the news but can't find the story about it.

you have a bonafide movie addiction, Lisa.
Or just wait for another movie from Netflix and stay out of Blockbuster entirely. You know you'll get a late fee on that free movie anyways.

switched over to blockbuster and now realized netflix really sucked compared to the new BBV online. Now I can get movies much faster than I did with netflix, since I can go exchange a movie in the actual store, and the next movie on my list gets sent to me, meaning you can actually have more than 3-4 out at a time. And now, instead of having to try to send the movie in on time at netflx to get the movie that comes out on Tues, or else it goes on a wait, I can just walk into blockbuster and grab the movie off the shelf.
Also, another thing I really like is the free game rental I get each month, which is worth $8 in itself.

I got an e-mail about it that I deleted at the office but I think it said something about some sort of detachable tab or something. I'm not familiar with Netflix mailing envelopes, so I don't know what it is specifically. I'm sure that if you brought the movie into the store when you're finished with it, they could tell you what they need off of it.

Ya, I think its just the tab.. But if its just this weekend I can't do it. I throw those a way right when I open them.

Were you drunk last night Marisa? :D
Screw Blockbuster and their late fees. I refuse to use them just out of spite. Netflix is plenty fast for me. Hell, I've had three movies sitting on my mantle for at least two weeks waiting to be watched now.

i've had good luck wiht hollywood video.
I was referring to their in store bs. Two day rental. You pick it up Friday night, late fees start racking up at Sunday morning 12:01am. Granted they changed their practices after some class action lawsuits cried fowl, but I still won't use them.

I've heard they stopped allowing game rentals with the coupon's. That's the only thing that's got me deciding between Netflix and Blockbuster... if I can get free game rentals from BB, or if Netflix hooks up with Gamefly or something... that's the one that wins my money.

You can still use the monthly e-coupons you recieve from email on games but not the return envelopes you bring into stores. Those are for movies only.
