Holy cow! The adjusted DA at Houston for first round of qualifying was -1274ft! That is not a typo, that is 1274 BELOW sea level racing conditions!
The first 25 qualifiers in the Stock Eliminator are all 1.0 or better under the index: A/SA Fred Henson, Madisonville TX, '70 Challenger 9.985 11.30 -1.315! A stocker in the 9’s! That is unbelievable! The #1 qualifier is 1.363 under the index.<O:p
In Super Stock the #1 qualifier is: 3010 SS/K Robin Brown, Madisonville KY, '66 Chevy II 9.898 11.30 -1.402!<O:p
They are also allowing Pro Stock to test at this Division Event, and; the one qualifier for session #1 does this: Roger Brogdon runs 6.592/210.31! His 60ft was a 0.995 and his 8<SUP>th</SUP> mile time was 4.244 @ 167.80!<O:p
In Top Dragster my father’s NA 632ci BBC went 7.12 @ 186+ mph – not too shabby for NA only!
