For March 24th... Texas Streetcar shakedown at Ennis.

Last year i attempted the 13.5 class, had to hit the brakes and still broke out.( Carless chris knocked me out)


This year i HOPE to have the motor in, a diff tranny setup and run the 12.50 index... hopefully having to hit the brakes again.

Engine is currently at the motor shop and i plan on repainting and rewiring complete engine compartment, moving battery to trunk, t5 conversion, build the long block and put back in car, welding up subframe connectors and a few other weak points on the car, break in the motor and go make a mid 12 second pass on the 24th.

good heads cam and pistons finally. been planning and saving and buying parts for 6 months now, finally getting to put it all together

and a little bit of that lol.... hell a 289 is only 13 cubes smaller then a 302 thats easy to make up in rpms.

They are... index class rules stay the same however the fastest street car class must make a cruize, but open exhaust and slicks are allowed.

Man I havent gone to the link but the rules you posted are still a joke for the fastest street car class, let me think about this......open exhaust and slicks are allowed but you have to cruise the car.....? So as long as the pro mods can make the cruise they are still in......what a joke. Hopefully my car will be fast enough for the 11.50 class on the motor..... :cool:

I thought you just barely broke 12's with your nitrous? Everytime ive personally seen it run its slower then me on my old motor due to traction or something.
