I had them criticise my driveshaft loop. It has to be within a certain distance of the front u-joint and mine was a couple of inches back :) but it was installed 15 years ago and was probably within the rules at the time. I've got it moved up now within spec.

My first pass on motor off the street was a 12.6, changed a few setting on the rear shocks and ran a 12.1 all motor, the next pass I ran a 75 shot and went 11.44, then I ran a 12.2 on motor.. I had all the interior in my car weighing in at 3400lbs with me in it.. Where was your car at I didn't see you running out there today??

The vert was running good today, nothing wrong with the tune at all, just a small case of bad gas. Put some torco in the tank and ran it on the street tune and the big pulley. Not bad for a heavy ass pig.

Thats what I figured, there are other problems with the car that is causing the graph to look like that. He was on the dyno the other night and we got the a/f worked out.

Tell me this how many 2v's are putting that kind of power down safe. He has been beating on that car for over a year and has had very little problems. It has an 03 cobra short block with stock heads and a set of our cams.

You can ask Stroked about his tune from Manny or the vert black cobra today that put it on your boy Dan, or the hard top today that also put it on your boy. I guess when you have a bunch of cars running around putting hurtin's on people you guys have to find something to hate on. Its cool mustang guru, I'm sure we have something in any size or flavor at the shop right now tuned by us that will have no problems handling you. :rolleyes:

He hot lapped it today and then made some spirited runs on the way home. He beats that car more then any board memeber and with the stock motor its having no engine problems at all.

I find it funny that Mr. Teal will reply to Bill and not myself. Here is a little reminder of the blue car at work, that was built and tuned by HPP. :cool:

His best was a 10.33@140 I believe. Still not bad with 17's on four corners @ 3880 race weight . We were data logging the runs and it showed to only get 14 degrees of timing. Which is fine for pump gas. But we had it on race gas and it should have been seeing closer to 20. There was a lot left on the table with the stock motor, 9's wont be a problem at all.

My daily driver is by no means the fastest car to come from our shop. It is my daily with all the comforts, that I run at the track to see what it does. It is a street car though.
You find it amusing that so many of our customers go elsewhere for tunes??? The feedback we get is excellent from the customers. Do you have any idea how many cars go thru our shop on a daily basis? You think just cuase you know a couple people who went somewhere else and they added timing and picked up a few HP, now "so many of our customers are leaving". We tune street cars that run on pump gas most of the time, and a lot are daily drivers. Our customers prefer safety then a few HP and broken parts all the time. Shit can happen, but you can do everything possible to prevent it. If someone wants to push there car harder I have no problem doing it as long as the right octane is used and the car is showing no signs of pinging. I see the silly remarks about the low timing and other BS. You have no idea wht the circumstances are for that car, At the time the A/F drifted between a safe area the whole time. There was other circumstances that led to the A/F not being stable. Either way show me other 4.6 2v's making that kind of power with similar mods.
Out at Ennis today there was a few happy HPP customers with there tunes, for example:
(1)White fox daily driver stock pcm with a chip (3 tunes), turbo 10.5@13X, driven to & from track.
(2)Stroked's fox driven to & from the track ran mid 10's@13X w/ a fast.
(3)Steven's 04 Cobra convert 11.0@125 full weight daily driven on 17 psi (still has the 23psi tune & pulley on the table. ( 4 tunes on the chip)
(4)Mike's 03 Cobra 10's@13X 6 spd, IRS, whipple, etc... Daily driver w/70k, 50k of which with an HPP tune & whipple.
(5)Earls 95 GT convert w/ a KB and a small shot 10.3@136 street driven but not his only daily.
(6)My 03 Cobra daily driver low 10.3@140 weighing in at 3890 with a 1.78 60'
There was many others out there, those are just a few that come up. Not bad for a day at the track, thats a lot of true 10 second street cars for just a random day at the track.
You sure do have a lot of hate for someone who has never even done any business or anything with us.
As far as Bill is concerned, I can't control what he talks about. It is a free nation. You think I'm worried about what he is saying, look how many other people talk out of there ass and we don't baby sit them. He is quick to jump the gun, but there is other people who talk shit to him all the time too.

So if someone has our sticker on there side window and one night they get a DUI. That is a reflection of our shop too? I know the DUI was wrong but it has nothing to do with us and our work. Most customers understand this concept. It seems like the two people who are most worried about it are not customers and probaly would have never been customers anyway, even if Bill didn't talk shit.

The fact of the matter, my car works and the tune is not only safe but works perfect.
