This event will be held on March 30 and April 1st down in College Station. We will be running the BIG 2.9 mile course that lets a stang stretch it's legs. If you EVER want to drive your car on a road course and have some of the best Mustang racers in the United States coaching from the passenger seat, THIS is THE event to attend.

Registration can be found here.... http://www.motorsportreg.com/calendar/event.cfm?uidEvent=CF048296-097C-BC16-F1FD78F147795780 and can be done online.

This is always a great event and last year we had a blast in the instructor group as 3 of us rented 06' V6 Stangs and put on a hell of a show with what was left of the cars!

I will be instructing at this event as well as a majority of the American Iron and Camaro Mustang Challenge pro's so you will not find a better group of instructors. I will also finally have a passenger seat in the car so wild rides will be available in the instructor group.

If you have any questions, follow the link for registration or feel free to ask here or by PM...

here is a video link...rain race from august to let you know what the track is like. FYI, end of the front straight diving into T1 is about 150 mph!

bump....need some registrations...this event is a little thin which translates into a lot of track time...

This is the most fun you can have in a car with your clothes on! Period.

I'd love to be there, but the car isn't ready. I'm shooting for the TWS Motorsports Club event on 4/21 & 4/22...

I'd go, but I still have 4.10s. 110 is my max speed.

So? TWS is still a lot of fun below 110.

You seem to imply that you might be fast enough to actually hit that speed?! ;)

Yeah, I was doing 110mph going into T1 in a V6 Rental stang and that was about all it would do. If you still have a t45 in the car, 5th is very usable there with 4.10's.....

Why not the NASA event in april? It's going to be the 2.9 CW which will be a lot of fun AND you get to see the races....

And as far as car being apart....mine hasn't been this torn down EVER in it's life!!!! I got a lot of work to finish!!!!

I'm shooting for that too. I figure the weekend before is for Cheatin' Bastard Practice™!

This'll be the first time with the new front end, so some tuning/setup will be needed...

Is it a good time just to come and watch? Price to get in? My car will have no chance of getting done, but I would like to come and see what it's all about.

Is it a good time just to come and watch?Absolutely!

Also, of you can make it, come out to the NASA race. $10 to get in, unless they changed it this year ($10 gets you TWO days admission.) No pit passes, either. You can just walk around the pits and get an up-close look at a these fine racing machines (well, except mine -- it's a piece of junk.) Make sure you catch the AI/CMC group when they're on track -- 35 Mustangs Firebirds and
Camaros on track battling it out!
