So who all is going tomorrow? Anyone want to meet up somewhere and cruise down there together? I'm going to leave around 9 I think, take me a little over an hour to get there plus breakfast, so if someone wants to meet up at an IHop or McDonalds or something, let me know, or just post up and say who all is going to go there to get some runs in. I expect it to be fairly crowded, but I only need (get) 2 passes anyway. :D

I'm going as long as it is not raining. I have never been to Ennis so I am looking forward to it. I'll be leaving the Rockwall area around 9:30am.
From what I have heard, the gates open at 11:00am and racing goes from 12:00pm til dark. I don't see anything on www.texasmotorplex.com showing any details.
Do they set a limit on how many cars they let race?
I know when I lived in California and used to go to California Dragway (Fontana's California Speedway) they would limit the cars to 400. You could get about 3 runs in over an 8 hour period with that many cars.
Do we need to arrive before the gate opens to get a spot?
Thanks for the info in advance,
Adam

No they won't limit the amount of cars... there will probably be a lot of people there, there usually is the first few weeks they are open. I only want to make 2-3 runs, hopefully right away before a lot of people get there, then I can go home. :o

I'm only 15mins from the track so I doubt I'll be meeting up with anyone before getting there. Don't be a stranger guys, I can't wait to see some of the TBSS's make some runs.

mine will be less than stellar.. I couldn't get a last minute mod installed so I'm figuring I'll be running 13.3's if I'm lucky.
There will be a pretty quick white one out there though... He was running 12.5's w/ stock internals. Now he's got heads/cam.. We'll see how it runs in comparison :)

I'll be glad to dip into the 14's, I was hoping to have my parts in but it looks like mid to late next week for me. I guess it works out for the better, I can have baseline track numbers to go with my baseline dyno.

Well, unless Discount Tire has a 295/35/18 BFG KDW in stock I won't be going. With all the construction in our neighborhood this is the 3rd nail I have had in less than 6 months!
It went right through the top of the sidewall and then back out near the rim.
I am glad I bought the warranty! 3 tires for the price of 1! :D
