Does anyone know how much it cost to race sat at Texas motorplex?? And do you have to wear a helmet?

Does anyone know how much it cost to race sat at Texas motorplex?? And do you have to wear a helmet?

i think helmet is a must at most 1/4 mi (and for that fact a lot of 1/8) tracks. i'd assume ennis is no different.

and I have no clue on cost. i was wondering the same thing.

We should be fine on the weather, everything says rain is expected in the evening hours. The website says racing is from noon till dusk.

Going up there in my Mach with a bunch of baylor people seems like the cost is $15 to race if i remember right...

I'll be out there also.. I won't have my cage installed in time for Sat. So I will only make one maybe 2 passes on the bottle all the rest will be on motor..

$10 for spectators/pit crew

$15 for racers (helmet required)

I am having a 6 point put in at the end of the month at SQR along with K-Member & A-Arms & Hal Coil overs & relocating the battery to the back & FAST Intake & Heads & NW 90 MM TB & DS loop. :D


Plus I want to spend some time with my son & let him get a taste of the racing in the stands. gonna give THE RAT a rest till May ;)

my buddy and i are planning on going, hoping to make a couple good runs. not sure how we'll turn out though, both of our cars are set up for the 1/8th. I think we will both be bang'in out on the rev limiter

Looks like all my parts for my truck won't be here till next Friday, even though they are all located in the DFW area. So I'll be running stock tomorrow.

We can run em out the back door once if you want... ;) After you get a good 60' that is... you'll have to let out at about the 1/8th mile and brake... I plan to brake HARD at around the 1000 foot.
