I'm curious if it's anything different / better than the 06'. I'm contemplating getting a special edition one....(i'm a sucker for graphics and colored wheels...)
Or either a r1 or 1000rr, not sure yet....kawi seems friendlier with financing. Plus i've been out of the bike world for a while

I dont think they changed anything from '06. Curious, what made you not want a suzuki?

According to the guys at the dealer (we know there not the brightest guys in the world) there were no changes other than color options.

He doesn't work at a dealership. I think he's posted before that he usually buys from Tommy White (Irving and DeSoto??) Kawasaki or something like that.

Kawasaki City is far, but they have good deals. I live in Flower Mound and my neighbor went all the way out there to get his 636 last year

They changed the color options, can't get solid black anymore  ! and they blacked out the exhaust, and added some stickers, other than that, not much changed. I'll probably upgrade to one next winter.

it's 3 minutes south of 20 on 35, that's about 35-40 minutes from flower mound. ......
I paid 10,681 OTD when they first came out in Feb' 06. I would drive 150 miles to pay that over what some of the other dealers want.

Not for that price. Action Suzuki sells Kawi to. They won't even come close to price from Sammy White. I had to get my Suzuki in Oklahoma to get that kind of deal. Action will straight up tell you that they don't do much dealing and they get close to sticker on most of what they sell.

Oh good lord Gomer........Pay attention please, I don't remember the post reading "hey guys what's the closest dealer to my house". Were not talking about saving a couple hundred, he beat every deal I could find by more than $500, if you won't drive 30 minutes to save $500, more power to you man.

No shit, which is what supprised me. I had to help take his bike out there to get serviced because he had a rat chew up a bunch of shit and it seemed like a very long drive just to buy a bike, but then he told me the deal on it which made me understand. Just my first impression was "you drove way the fuck out in this ghetto to get a kawi?"

Nice work Sherlock.
It's elementary Watson, did some research a couple months ago on them.
Kawasaki city has some great deals, but any dealer will usually match them, so it is worth a try to call your local place first. I had the intention of buying mine there but I didn't get any help when I walked into the place and they were dead. I ended up getting the same deal at my local dealer. The next time I went Kawi city was to get a part for the bike that only they had, they were extremely helpful.

My brother just bought an '07. He got the special edition (black with red flames). I haven't yet seen it in person, but the pics look great.

You didn't go to the one in Lancaster...you went to the one in Arlington, same owner two different places. I would not go back to the one in Arlington ever.
