NO RICERS!!!Take Your Multi Colored, Big Winged, Fart Canned, Slow POS Somewhere else.. You are not wanted nor welcome here!!!!
NO BURNING OFF leaving the GTG - don't be a jackass - use some common sense...
NO BLOCKING DRIVE THRU (especially at the back by the dumpster)
PICK UP YOUR TRASH! (throw it in a trash can)
NO PARKING IN THE FIRE LANE -additional parking is behind the Taco Bueno (do not park on the north side by the QT either - those are for regular customers)
TRY TO BUY AT LEAST SOMETHING UP THERE AT SONIC - They are letting us have the GTG there so as long as we make them happy with more buisness they won't ask us to leave like the Garland GTG..

It ain't going to blow.. I don't have any N20 going in to it.. The fuel system was running fine yesterday, and I have over 400 miles on the motor, so I opened it up a little bit.. That isn't going to hurt anything..

What is it doing?If feels like the pump is shutting off on me everyonce in a while.. I think it is loosing voltage some how to the pump.. I thought is was just a loose connection and I fixed that and everything was running right all day yesterday, but then I get into the car today and it started acting up again every once in a while.. I am going to have to data log it to find out what is causing the fuel issue.. That should tell me if I'm loosing Voltage or if the pump is just going out..

I think the Weather is going to be shitty.. I still haven't figured out what was causing that problem.. I checked the fuel pressure and it was fine, checked the sincer on the fuel rail and it was fine, pulled the chip.. Hell it was messing up some then all of the sudden it started working fine, of course it works fine when someone else drives the car, I put it on the dyno and pulled it 4 times, 4 different ways, with the chip on, bypassed, out of the computer, and on again and everything was fine.. Hell I don't know what it is.. It could still be the fuel pump acting up and not giving out enough volume but keeping the psi up there. I still need to tune the car, the A/F is all over the place but with in limits, untuned it put down 315rwhp & 312rwtq.. I figure after the tune it should pick up alot more..

Will do, I'll be putting that on after I get out of work.. I'm pretty positive that is what is causing my problems.. So far so good.. I have not had one issue since putting that strap on it.. I drove it to work this morning and it is running like a champ.. Now I hope the weather is 1/2 way decent going home, driving that car in bad weather sucks ass....

Why 69nova? you should get that cam from Mike. Thats a damn good price for that cam & you would be running the same times & Brian & I.

Yeah SQR is flowing the Heads & going to see what TEA 1.5 Heads actually flow. They claim they flowed 301 Intake & 259 Exhaust.

Also getting a NEW FAST & NEW NW TB & some DA QA1 R Struts & SA Shocks out back.

Also going to put in a 6 point Chromoley Cage with some Corbeau TRS Seats with 5 points Harness's. Don't know if I will save any weight with the seats. But trying to off set the weight I am gaining from the cage with the TRS Seats

Might do the BMR K-member & A-Arms if money allows.

My goal is to run 7.0s on motor & try & get a 6.999 if possbile.

I know you read the thread Seb, I put everything in there of the race, how close it was, and that you banged off the limiter. We are on the same page. ;)

As for my car, it's prolly getting a 12 bolt, hals, and TH350 this weekend. Of course along with some other goodies.

I'm gonna bust up 14.3gt homo for 5 bills if not more when his big 408 motor is back together. I'm gonna go play with the big boys for a while :p

I would love to run a 7.4 on motor, but most likely it will run some 7.5's-7.6's.. Like I said I have no clue what it will run.. I still have to set the suspension up and tune the car.. When it gets a little warmer out side I'll be out there running.. ;)

They are BFG's and not the ones from Sunday. They are at the wear markers I believe. I'll take a picture of them tonite and send it to you.

I know it is. Shouldn't take more than a day to get everything situated and then it's off to Brian @ RPM to do his magic. :D

Thats damn good. 11.90s in the 1/4 if you run 7.60s & 11.60s if you run 7.40s, That is hauling some ass. Do you still have your AC Dan?

Not many 281s on the board that I know putting down impressive numbers besides Mannys Cobra & Dans Mach.

Something to be said for a car that has AC & Power Steering & System that can still whoop ass & take names. :D

I thought I did. I put on the new balancer and it still made the same noise. I ran a compression test and the back cylinder on the passenger side had only 62psi. I am going to take off the valve cover to look and see. I hope its just a loose rocker or something but I am begining to think its the bottom end. There might be a 347 in my future.

Well Hell, I thought I fixed the fuel issue I was having.. I guess not, it is still acting up on me.. I guess the pump is going out or something.. I have no clue.. Screw it I guess I'll just put the return style fuel system in with that A1000 pump...

Return style is the best way to go Dan, if your still looking add the turbo later on, even if it is a little pricey. My setup has the 2025 weldon, 10an lines, 75lb injectors, sullivan fuel rails.

I recall that too smartass. LOL!! I took off the drivers side valve cover and everythign looked OK. I am procrastinating about the passenger side because it is a bitch with the squeaking alternator bearing. ;)

I think he has more problems than a rocker. The balancer was broke in half, which I think led to more issues.

I'm trying to keep John in good spirits;) ...but be prepared for anything...

Regardless, even a limping 302 still puts out more torque and hp than a 2.8 liter Fiero engine will ever dream of...

That guy with the 347 is supposed to email me some pics this weekend. He said it was forged, stockblock,stock bore 347. It had afr 185's on it. He is supposed to get up with the guy that he got it from to check the compression ratio. He was spraying it so I am sure it was 10.5:1 or so.

If it does it at high rpm, it is the alternator... I am having the same problem with my Cobra. You need to put a larger pulley on the ALT of slow it down with a smaller crank shaft underdrive. ;)
Not the alt. and I have stock size pullies on my car.. I already got it fixed..

I'm still thinking on it.. Arlington is pretty far from Richardson and I just detailed the TA over the weekend so i'd be pissed if it got rained on and got dirty LOL.. Plus.. its only been rained on 4 times in 6 yrs :D I might just go next week. The daily driver is getting a fresh paint job so its in the shop all week :(
