this is for a friend of mine. he has a bike that he says he may have either not pressurized the oil when he added some oil and he may have burnt out the clutch when he kept riding the clutch when he was learning to ride it.

my question for you all is, how does he fix this problem of his bike not wanting to start or if it starts briefly, it wont go in to first and it shuts off.

he also thinks it could be his battery for some reason, so i let him borrow my battery charger so he can at least rule that one out. so any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

might check the side stand switch. if it dies when you drop it into 1st, that could cause it if the bike still thinks the sidestand is down

he asked another friend and they told him that the oil has to be pressurized before you can change the oil.

I would like to know what kind of bike this is. I've never heard of pressurizing the oil system on ANY bike...and furthermore would love to know how to do this
I think your buddy needs to ask other people besides the friends he is asking because it sounds to me like they are either REALLY dumb, or they are fucking with him.
