its not so much the cold on your body that sucks, its more the blast of cold air coming up under your helmet onto your face that i hate....

I don't really have a choice this week. I have to ride the whole week because I am having a few things done with the car. I went skiing in december so I have the long underwear and have been using them. My jacket with the liner is real warm so the cold doesn't really bother me.

My car was at the "spa" (shop getting fixed) so I rode yesterday all day. It was 37 for a high. Wasnt too bad, I bought new riding pants and a hannibal lecter looking face mask and they worked great.

Whats the name of the restaraunt? I head up that way about once a week. I have a Red Vstar. But I do not ride in the snow or rain. Cold, I can deal with. I was riding last week in the 40s.

I live in Irving but have been going up that way more. I'll stop by. Are you there on the weekends? I'll be in a blue Lightning with either an enclosed trailer, or a Yamaha YZ250 and/or Yeti mt bike.
I'm going this weekend and maybe 3 or 4 more in the next 8 weeks.

cant say i miss that bullshit.. you know what i really DONT miss.. is when its fucking cold as shit, and you're freezing your balls off trying to get home, then you ride by a lake or river and its even colder. a couple times i thought i was going to shiver myself right off the bike i was so cold. The worst ride though was from dallas to longview at night when it was 15-20 degrees and the occasional lovely rain shower. i was wearing my perforated jacket, jeans, and gloves. i seriously think i started to hallucinate, bc i dont remember very much at all about that ride.
