Anybody here ever do it? I keep thinking it might be pretty fun, but I'm thinking it might also have potential to attract yuppie dicks.

I tried it last christmas and it was a lil more difficult than I thought. Close range at that. Real fun but yes, there were some yuppie bastards out there with what seemed like, more money in their shotguns than I had in my whole truck, lol.

yep, but I guess if you have a $5K custom gun, thats the best place to use it. I'd hate to go stomping through a muddy field looking for dove with something like that.

Right on both counts, huh? Still, I keep thinking I needs me an over/under shotgun.

when it's nice outside, i go as much as possible...it's a blast. i either go to the dallas gun club or the one off of luna in dallas...i can't think of the name right off hand.

there are some guys at the dallas gun club that have over-under and side by side shotguns that cost more than the average house! i have a beretta white onyx over/under...it's nice, but it's not a big money gun...it runs ~$1,400...

i think its funny when you see some redneck loading his shotgun to the brink to go clay shooting...

I haven't been in awhile, but its deffinitely different. I'm pretty good shot on doves, but the first time I went to shoot clay I sucked till I got used to it. :o

I've got a 28ga OU that is fun to shoot, great quail gun because its soo light.

I bet that is a challenging quail gun. What make and model of the 28ga?
