Nice card with a couple of UFC vets, some very good prospects, and some good local guys. I know its a few months out but I thought I would post it here anyway.
The only way to get a UFC here is to support the smaller shows. I will keep posting info as I find out.

what do tickets cost for events like this? Now that CroCop and Rampage are UFC I may have a little more interest in the goings on. My wife also enjoys two guys beating the shit out of each other for a little while.

the local events vary. most are priced from $20 general admission to $150 front row.
UFC's are getting more expensive. I usually sit in the $100=$200 seats. they are in the upper deck. I once sat in the $350 seats at UFC 44. It was still the 1st level above the floor, but the view was perfect..
UFC's cheapest ticket is $50-$75 but they are usually way up in the nosebleeds.

The suite seats 12-14 I think.

I'm pretty sure I have 6 tickets so far, but as for the rest, we'll have to wait to see if anyone in the company is interested, which I doubt.

We flew down to Florida and he tried out. He did a little groundwork with a brownbelt and Jason schooled him. Then it went to the handbags and kicks and he looked pretty damn good, alot better than alot of guys there. I think the fact that he has beaten the coach worked against him instead of for him. Dana White remembered him beating Jens and he liked his ground work but little Silva that does the fight cards said no. I was right next to him and Dana said to put Jason in and Silva said he wouldn't. Sucks hard I think he should be there. He had his down time but he has won his last 4 fights. Good trip though Jason and I got some pics with Dana. Top Team wants Jason on their payroll but his wife doesn't want to move down to Fl. Hopefully he gets a break here soon. You going to be their tomorrow?

I don't know how long the drive from Dallas is. From W.F. it is about 2 hrs. He is fighting at the casino in Shawnee. That is what he was hoping is a rematch with Jens at the end of the show. You know Penn was beat by Pulver back in the day. Jason is an exciting fighter I will post of picks soon and I have the DVD of Maxwells and Pulvers fight I need to post it up to. Went to FL for $125 roundtrip for the tryouts, I should of asked if you wanted to go. I hope he decides to start training with top team even though that would suck for our program in W.F.

Hey juiced, Matt Grice broke his hand so Jason Maxwell has been called to fight Yuki! He is still debating on taking the fight because he beat some guy named Jason Saturday in Shawnee with in arm bar in 2min. in the 1st round. He is fighting for the title Febuary 10th against some guy named Steve Snyder. Jason said it would be a tough fight. The thing is he wants more training time to get ready for Yuki. Yuki trains with Gomi I believe so he has some good training partners. Jason has trained with many good fighters but this is a tough call for him. He wants to take it to be recognized if he wins but he knows Yuki would be tough.

We'll be down in S Florida, we go every year around Spring Break.

I got the pre-sale offer for this and got all excited......even went on the pre-sale website and was ordering tickets until I figured out that it was 2 days after I leave for Florida :doh:

Yeah, we definitely need to all meet up. I think we're driving down, not too sure yet. I want to go to the weigh in's for sure. I've got 8 tickets to the fight and two parking passes. I think we're in section 111.....definitely looking forward to it.

There really aren't too many big names available that aren't fighting on the 68 or 70 card in England. Perhaps Rampage will be available???

I'm hoping they add Rampage to it. I think they added CroCop to the card in England and Chuck fights at 71. So as long as Rampage and Chuck both win their next fight, then I see them having their rematch towards the end of the year.

Maybe they will sign another big name before the event. Who knows for sure though.

I definitely wouldnt fly to Vegas for this card but i will support it in my home state for sure.
