Ok, Just wanted to post up a selection of Dates so we can decide when we are going to ride. THEN from those who signed up we can decide WHERE we are going to ride.

If you can't make it please don't vote, we had tons of people sign up for the Killeen trip and then back out.

I put down the 24th as well. Lets see if any other dates get picked, if not we can finalize the route on the Wed the 21st, and confirm the weather on Thur the 22nd.

Looks like we are as far north as Sherman and as far south as Midlothian, so this could be interesting.

I might convince my boss and another co-worker from work to go but they will be riding right around the speed limit or slightly above. I'll have to talk to them.

we could have all the far-northerners (gainesville, sherman area) meet up, then head south, to meet everyone else. Ya know, pick a central spot and a meet time, then let everyone from each region work out how to get there.

Just got the call for D.C. so if I take it this will be my last ride with you guys, if I am not on the road that weekend.

LOL!! good one! I will get rid of the truck before I get rid of my bike. I am already looking for a place to park it so I can ride on the weekends in D.C.

Oh yeah I am gonna try to get the Radar Detector hooked up before the next ride..... :D

Nah Bro, my bike is therapy for me. If I have a bad day I just go and hit some curves, or a few straight aways........it's hard to stay upset after that!

Financial reasons. I plan on getting a new R6 later in the year though, but not in time for the road trip

I got a wild hair and decided to polish the bike :eek: now my polisher is on back order and this thing is all over the garage. :(

Since it will only be the small things left I will probably just put it back together and ride, or borrow my friends 1K ;)

Right now the poll says we have 12 people for Feb 24th. We need to put names and locations, plus what they are riding together, to see where we are riding to etc. and if we need two different groups.

I am down for another Dublin or Killeen ride. I did the Killeen ride again back in November using I-35 to Hwy22 in Hillsboro, to avoid the traffic we had last time, and it went alot smoother.

I am going to get mine put together and then probably dyno tuned hopefully this weekend or next so i should be good to ride.

But it's on a Saturday....can't do it. My buddy finally finalized the trip destination (indecisive as hell) so i can't take off anymore. And to boot, not many people like his wife, so it looks like just me and them two going. :( But, i've got an old girlfriend down in Baton Rouge that i'm going to go see, so it's not all bad.

There are some awesome roads out in Palo Pinto I think its Hwy 4 not real sure but its an awesome ride and its far enough that there arent any cops out there. Also out in Mineral Wells there is the old air port Pad and if any of you guys are stunters thats a place to show off some of your mad skills. Just fyi if anyone is interested.. i live right off the interstate there in weatherford and that could be a meeting spot or just whatever.

Since OC is out I guess I'll be taking over the planning of the ride.

Any ideas where is a good place to meet?? I normally have everybody meet on the Southside off of I-20 but I know some people are coming in from up north so I'd like to meet them somewhere closer. Also, what time do you guys want to meet up. I'm figuring we hit up Dublin first and than the Hard 8 BBQ afterwards.

Sounds good 2 me. I am just glad this is still in the works. Got a kitchen pass to roll out so I figured I better use it quick. :D
