Streak over. Mavs looking to rebound. Mavs also looking for revenge from Utah spanking that a** the first time around. Or will Mavs lose 2 in a row? It almost doesn't seem possible with this team, but it can happen. Just look at the Slurs. I didn't think 3 in a row was possible for them.

Wow, didn't think the Spurs could go 3-0? That speaks more about your basketball knowledge than it does about the Spurs.

he said 3 in a row. that's 3 losses in a row, which the spurs just did. not 3 wins in a row, that's easy for a playoff caliber team.

Thanks man. If I wanted to talk trash about them, I'd just bring up the good memories (http://www.dfwstangs.net/forums/showthread.php?t=289565&referrerid=390) Mavs fans still have.

I think Mavs/Spurs fans alike have much respect for each other's teams, so it doesn't get out of control in here.

All is well so far. Mavs jumped out to a quick 7-2 and are currently up 20-17. Pretty decent pace so far. JHo is playing very well!

Great win for the Mavs tonight. Dirk had another amazing game. What is sad is the fact that if he doesn't drop around 20+ a night, its an off night.

That game sucked ass.

Refs needed to swallow the whistle. They had five times as many fouls on the Mavs in the first half, and reversed that in the second. Guys were shooting FTs constantly, no one could get into a rhythm (except in the last two minutes of the fourth when the teams went back and forth  ). Stackhouse was a little aggressive but I also think he was being picked on. There was a lot of energy on the court, that is for sure! I think Jazz was 12-2 on home court coming into that game so it's obvious the Mavs played their asses off to come out with a win.

GO MAVS

Yeah, too many damn fouls, but that's the way Utah plays. I stayed up til the end and then had to get up at 4am for work. I really don't think either one of Stack's fouls were flagrant. One guy was up too close in Stack's grill when he tried to reposition the ball and Stack got all hands/wrists on the other call. Stupid refs. That was a good, grind it out win. Mavs certainly wouldn't have won that type of game a couple years ago. And I think the Jazz were actually 14-2. That is a tough place to play.

Mavs back at it tonight against Portland. Wouldn't be surprised to actually see us lose because the dropoff in intensity from a good game like that. But its here at the AAC, so I hope they give the fans a W.

Props to the Mavs for winning 2 of 3 on the road against the best the West has to offer.
