CBS 11 just played a clip of Automatica claiming that the ball was "slick" all night long, but wouldn't go as far as to say it was intentionally done.

What does Gramaticunt expect??
It was a typical drizzle filld Seattle day. NFL balls have a special force field emmitter to keep it shielded from the elements.

I don't doubt it. Teams use the home field for their benefit all the time. Hell the Giants used to intercept the opposing teams communications all the time and Dallas puts their opponent in direct sunlight while they enjoy the shade and their misters/swamp coolers.

I just heard about this from a coworker. I got a chuckle out of it  Just look forward to next year

Every ball they've used on kicks has been slick . . . . he muffed it . . . the scoreboard he has on all of us is that afterwards he muffed Carrie Underwood. :D

Kicking balls are kept seperate from the footballs they play with normally. They are marked clearly with a big K on them. Kicking balls are always brand new each game which is why they look slick. Romo just choked.

As compared to footballs that aren't brand new each game? ALL footballs are brand new each game in the NFL.

It ain't like your recreational softball league where the home team supplies a ball for the game.

The balls used in plays are scuffed before each game to add grip. Kicking balls are not scuffed and slick.

I understand what you are saying but typically all footballs are "new" for the game. The home team supplies the game balls (inspected by the refs prior to the game. You are correct in that 12 footballs are shipped to each game that are designated kicking balls. The home team doesn't supply them.

The Eagles kicker this morning on ESPN even said how the K balls, made for kicking are very slick. Im not sure why you would need 2 different balls one for the regular game and one for kicking. I dont blame the lost on that, but that ball sure did look like it had oil on it, lol.

Someone keep track of all these former fans, who will be the first to praise Romo next year, and get the crow ready.
